Welcome to the Starbase Hatteras
The year is 2265 and the frontier is can be a dangerous place.
A Watchtower-class starbase, Starbase Hatteras serves as the command center for the Hatteras Explorer Group.
Named after the famous Cape Hatteras lighthouse located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina on Earth, the starbase was brought online in the latter part of 2262 to stand as a silent guardian on an unstable frontier where it serves as a beacon of hope that shown brightly even through war.
... a war that pulled its focus away from one its original mission.
With the Klingon War ending, will it serve as a guiding light or will crashing waves of chaos bring it down?
Currently, the starbase is located along the outer edge of the Hatteran Expanse near the Diamond Shoals.
